Aiming to establish a significant position in the Android market, Nothing continues to work on new models to expand its share in the phone market. Following the latest official announcement, the features that will be included in the soon-to-be-released Nothing CMF Phone 1 have been revealed. Here are the expected features and price of the Nothing CMF Phone 1…
Nothing CMF Phone 1 might come with MediaTek Dimensity 7300
Compared to the Phone 2a model introduced a few months ago, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to be more affordable and was initially rumored to feature the same Dimensity 7200 processor. However, new leaks suggest that the company will use the Dimensity 7300, a competitor to the Snapdragon 778G+ used in Phone 1, instead of Dimensity 7200.
Although introduced as an upgraded model of the Dimensity 7050, the Dimensity 7300 might not perform as well as expected and could be similar to the Phone 1. The processor, used in the OPPO Reno12 Pro model, scores 1043 points in single-core and 2944 points in multi-core on Geekbench 6 tests.
Based on the shared images, the new phone is expected to feature a recycled plastic back cover and Nothing’s proprietary “Nothing Lock” system, allowing for the attachment of special accessories. This could appeal to users who enjoy accessorizing their phones and could stand out with its unique design.
According to previous leaks, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to come with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a dual-camera system on the back. The device is anticipated to offer sufficient performance with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will also feature 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Nothing CMF Phone 1 is expected to be available in July with a price tag of around $250.
